One of the most important fields of automobile's research is the design of automatic driver and driver assistance systems. One of the achievements of recent years is the automatic parking system. In this article, a new algorithm for intelligent car parking based on route design using the Clothoid curve is presented. This algorithm includes identification and diagnosis of the parking place, route design, positioning and movement control and provides a smooth and non-stop route to follow the path. The proposed algorithm was simulated in MATLAB for two different initial conditions, in both cases, a smooth and safe parking path was created, and it was determined that with different initial conditions, car will be able to successfully perform smart vertical parking.
